Our residential care model combines professional care and support with the experience of living in a genuine family-style home. We encourage children to participate in everyday activities, develop life skills, form positive relationships and enjoy opportunities that promote their wellbeing.
We understand that children need more than care. They need opportunities to play, learn, explore, communicate, develop friendships and experience childhood. Our staff work alongside each child to provide the right level of supervision, encouragement and support while promoting independence wherever safely possible.

Education and personal development are central to a child's wellbeing and future. We work collaboratively with families, schools, colleges, professionals and other relevant services to support each child's educational and developmental needs, encourage attendance and engagement, and celebrate progress.
We believe children should have opportunities to have fun, develop friendships, discover new interests and experience achievement. Activities are selected according to each child's preferences and abilities, and learning also happens through everyday life — cooking, shopping, household tasks and getting out into the community. Our home provides spaces for relaxation, play, learning, socialising, creative activities, quiet time and family visits.

Referral
A local authority, social worker or family contacts us about a child.
Careful assessment
We consider the child's needs, risks, wishes and feelings, history, education, health and communication, and the impact on any child already living at the home.
Honest decision
We only accept a placement where we are confident the child's needs can be safely and effectively met. We never let filling a vacancy take priority over a child's welfare.
Planned, gentle move
Visits and introductions paced around the child, so moving in feels as positive and reassuring as possible.
Settling and support
A personalised care plan guides consistent day-to-day support from a familiar team.
Ongoing reviews
Care plans are reviewed regularly and after significant changes, so support keeps pace as the child develops.
